The good news is, there is absolutely hope that you can learn the skills required to end your chronic pain or tension myositis syndrome. The other side of the coin, however, is that you must be prepared to do the work it takes to allow yourself to heal from your chronic pain. Even if it means taking time out of your day to complete the exercises, the key is consistency and follow-through to get results.
You have to want to be pain-free more than anything and be willing to do whatever it takes. You have to have already decided that you do not feel the need to suffer any longer. You will be digging into the depths of your mind to uncover why you are having so much physical chronic pain. This is not easy work. This work does not provide instantaneous results.
This work is essentially a lifestyle and mindset shift, and you will be re-wiring your brain, which will be challenging to do initially. You have to be willing to do the work even when it's challenging. You have to decide that you'd rather experience the temporary pain of growth instead of continuing to experience the pain of staying where you are.
Once you've accepted that you have TMS and you've invested yourself into doing whatever it takes, you will notice very shortly after starting that you will experience a small reduction in pain, or even short periods of time existing in a pain-free state, and then a bigger reduction in pain and more time noticing you're pain-free. This is the indication to you that the work you have been doing... is working! This is also your first opportunity where you will see first-hand that you are empowered to shift your mindset and the rest of your recovery depends on you and your dedication to the work needed to be cured.
